Hi, I am Kristi Hayes. I have been a leading real estate professional in Central and South Texas since the year 2000. I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas then moved with my family to a small town called West Columbia, Texas. I grew up in that small, rural town and that “small town” feeling is a large part of my heritage. I graduated from Columbia High School in 1987. I then went to college at Southwest Texas State now Texas State where I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications. In my senior year of college I met my husband, Chad Hayes and we married in 1993. Together we are raising our three wonderful children Sydney, McKenna, and Stratton.
After working a number of years in outside sales, Chad and I moved from his hometown of Hondo, Texas to Bastrop, Texas where I became a Realtor in 2000. I was extremely fortunate to work for one of the Texas Hill Country’s most outstanding brokers, and learned the business from him and working with some of the best most experienced Realtors. Through hard work and diligence I received “Rookie of the Year” award for The Bastrop County Board of Realtors. For many years after I was “Realtor of the Year” for our office and numerous sales awards with The Bastrop County Board of Realtors. It was also while in Bastrop that I served as the President of The Bastrop County Board of Realtors. I also served on the board of the Greater Bastrop Chamber of Commerce and numerous church boards. I have the track record of hundreds of successful real estate transactions and bring integrity, knowledge, experience and skill to the table on your behalf. Due to Chad’s job change, our family moved to La Vernia in 2010 where again I became associated with one of the area’s top real estate brokers.
Since living and working in La Vernia, it has been my privilege to guide many buyers and sellers in their quest for finding the property of their dreams. While living in La Vernia, our family has become a big part of this wonderful community through church, school, community and sports activities. We have found Wilson County to be a warm and receptive place to raise a family. Since my first job out of college was in San Antonio and the surrounding area I already knew the South Central Texas area well in order to serve as a Realtor in the San Antonio vicinity.
